At the checkpoint "Tisa" of the Transcarpathian customs office, during the in-depth inspection of an "AUDI" with Slovak license plates, hidden cigarettes were found.
A Ukrainian planned to cross the border with Hungary, bringing along 450 packs of "ROTHMANS" made in Ukraine with excise stamps.
Arriving at the checkpoint, the citizen reported that he was not transporting any goods and items hidden from customs control. However, considering the risks and sending the car for in-depth inspection, customs officers found cigarettes hidden in the structural cavities and wheels of the car.
These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations envisaged by Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. Under the law, the "AUDI" and the cigarettes were seized.
