The driver drove into the customs control zone of the customs post "Tisa" of the Transcarpathian customs from Hungary on a truck with a semi-trailer. During the customs control, he submitted accompanying documents on the transportation of consolidated cargo to ten companies, including data on the cargo.
However, Transcarpathian customs officers conducted an in-depth inspection of the semi-trailer.
Thus, during the inspection it was established that it contained a cargo (clothes, bags, wallets) packed in 38 cardboard boxes, which is 15 packages more than that stated in the accompanying documents.
The undeclared 15 boxes contained the assortment of bags and purses by "ANTONELLO SERIO", made in China, a total of 880 pcs. The goods were located in the middle of the cargo compartment of the vehicle among the declared goods. The other goods correspond to the information stated in the accompanying documents.
As for evaluation of the goods, it will soon be done by an expert.
Thus, the driver moved the goods across the customs border of Ukraine concealed from customs control, submitting documents with false data on the number of packages and the designation of the goods. A report on violation of customs rules under Article 483 Part 1 of the Customs Code of Ukraine was drawn up. The goods hidden from customs control were seized.
