A Transcarpathian border guard dog found drugs in a Ukrainian’s car

Bottles with a narcotic substance were found today by border guards at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod". During the inspection of the passenger compartment of a car "Renault" driven by our compatriot, a sniffer dog gave a signal.

Thus, law enforcement officers decided to check the car more thoroughly together with customs officials. As it turned out later, it was a right decision. The sensitive nose of the dog found in the vehicle a cache, in which a 45-year-old resident of Kryvyi Rih tried to transport to Slovakia three plastic bottles with a vegetable substance.

They were hidden in constructive cavities under the steering wheel. As a result of the rapid analysis, it was found out that the bottles contained marijuana.

The National Police officers were called at the scene. Our compatriot is charged with an offense under Art. 305 of the CCU "Smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors."
