According to the head of the local prosecutor’s office Volodymyr Zhilkin, a 49-year-old man had a conflict with his partner. During the quarrel, he stabbed the victim several times in the face, left shoulder and heart with a kitchen knife. The attacker failed to complete his criminal intent: he was stopped by neighbors who witnessed the incident.
The incident happened in September this year. Then, the investigating judge imposed on the man a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention.
The pre-trial investigation in this case was carried out by investigators of the local police department under the procedural control of the prosecutors of the Vynogradiv department of the Beregovo local prosecutor’s office.
