Yesterday, April 13, at about 11:20, law enforcement officers received a report that in Uzhgorod, on Bercheni street, an accident involving three cars had occurred. This was reported by the official website of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region.
The investigative team at the scene found out that a car "Peugeot" driven by a 41-year-old resident of the regional center, moving along Bercheni street had made a turn to Strilnychna street and collided with a car VAZ 2104 driven by a 52-year-old resident of Uzhgorod.
In addition, a car Daewoo driven by a 27-year-old resident of Perechyn, that was following the Peugeot, was involved in the accident.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the "Peugeot" and his three passengers, including two minors, as well as the driver of the VAZ 2104, were taken to the city hospital with injuries. All drivers were questioned and tested. The vehicles were taken to the impound lot.
Criminal proceeding over the incident was opened under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, violation of the traffic rules with victims. The investigation continues.
