A sakura alley in honor of the killed policeman will be blooming in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

Two dozen sakuras were planted in Uzhgorod in honor of the killed policeman Mykola Bobyak.

Mykola Bobyak – Police Major, former chief of the Criminal Investigation department of Uzhgorod city police – was killed by an offender in March 1994.

Transcarpathian policemen cherish the memory of the deceased colleague. Now the street, named after the fallen Uzhgorod resident, will be blooming with pink sakura blossom. The police paln to continue such campaigns to plant trees. 

"In memory of Mykola Bobyak, we decided to plant the alley of sakura on this street. We will continue to take care of it, to maintain order here. We will continue such campaigns. We plan to hold one in the boarding school sponsored by us. We want to plant fruit trees there" – Hanna DAN, inspector of Uzhgorod Police Department said
