It was announced by the mayor of Mukachevo Andriy Baloha during a press conference. Currently, children with cerebral palsy receive financial compensation for treatment in rehabilitation centers of the country.
"We have initiated the transfer of part of the building of the Regional Children’s Hospital with the pool and unfinished space to the balance sheet of the city for the arrangement of a rehabilitation center. The city can invest funds and establish a real rehabilitation center. And we will be able to treat our children there. Because the cost of treatment in rehabilitation centers is 7-8 thousand hryvnia. For families, it is a lot of money," – the mayor said.
