The development of tourism by foresters in Transcarpathia continues, and this time employees of the Uzhgorod Forestry Enterprise decided to arrange a recreation area close to the regional center – in the woods along the Kyiv-Chop international highway.
The forest area, where the recreation site will be arranged, was chosen not randomly. It has all the prerequisites – the proximity to the regional center and the border with Slovakia and a nice oak forest, which people would like to stay in.
Last week, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Forestry and Hunting Range Administration Valeriy Murha reviewed the concept of the development of this area, which was proposed by the Uzhgorod Forestry. After discussing all the details, the clearing of the forest area from dangerous trees began. Today, surveyors conducted a survey of the plot and marked the growing trees so that architects and designers could make a plan for the future recreation complex.
Vasyl Kyi, the head of the district forestry department, believes that the creation of such a recreational facility is relevant and in line with the tendencies of tourism development in Transcarpathia. The tourist attractiveness of the district will increase, and locals will have a new place for family recreation in an oak forest.
