A powerful earthquake occured in Transcarpathian region, 120 kilometers from Uzhgorod – the press service of the State Emergencies Service of the region reported.

The seismic station "Uzhgorod" recorded four aftershocks on July 19. Also, the earthquake was felt in the villages of Ternovo, Neresnytsia, Kryve and Dobriansky.
The first shock of 1.7 magnitude occurred at 13:57, and the strongest one of 3.4 magnitude – at 14:31. Later, at 15:24 and 15:32, a small earthquake of 2 points magnitude was recorded, – the press-service informed.
The State Emergencies Service noted that the natural phenomenon did not caused any serious consequences.
