A plaque to Transcarpathian Hero of the ATO Anatoliy Holyk has been installed in his native village

A plaque to a hero, who died while fighting the enemy in the East of Ukraine, was opened in Uzhgorod district, the village of Nyzhnye Solotvyno.

Anatoliy Holyk was born in 1994, and after receiving a degree, worked in sanatorium complexes. In 2013, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 101st Brigade (Guard of the General Staff of Ukraine) and in August last year, he was sent to the war zone on the border of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

On January 28, this year, near Debaltseve, the armored personnel carrier, with Anatoliy on-board was hit by terrorists with an anti-tank grenade launcher. The young man died on the spot, he was just over 20 years old.

The plaque made by Mykhailo Belen was established in Nyzhnye Solotvyno, on the house where Anatoliy lived.
