The first festival "Varys palachinta" will be held in the local "Peremoha" park, on 5-6 March. The organising committee has been created for this purpose.
The "Varysh palachinta" is a fair-festival dedicated to the beginning of spring. During the festival, the participants will bake palachintas (pancakes) and donuts with various fillings.
In addition, the guests will be treated with honey, cheeses and wine. The touristic information centre of Mukachevo informs that artistic groups will perform, contests, quizzes, relays, and a marathon in pancake backing will be organised at the festival.
