They definitely will not be able to use this ramp, obstructed by someone who obviously is not familiar with any applicable state building codes, nor the Constitution of Ukraine, which guarantees human rights.
People with limited mobility, barrier-free environment – these concepts are probably unknown to that person.
In Ukraine, people with disabilities often win cases in courts due to lack of ramps or their unsuitability for use. In the capital, they created an interactive map "Free Space", which shows the accessibility of places in Kyiv for people with limited mobility. According to activists, more than 50% of the population face barriers in the architectural space, and those are not just people in wheelchairs. The category of people with reduced mobility include parents with children in strollers, elderly people and those with temporary health problems. The lack of conditions for free movement does not allow them to lead an active and full life, and violates human rights.
