A lecture about female composers of the twentieth century will be held in Uzhgorod (ANNOUNCEMENT)

The Uzhgorod Development Agency, together with the KolpinG Zakarpattya, invites to the lecture of Olha Betsa "Women and Music of the 20th Century: Pluralism of Movements and Styles" to be held on September 14 at 5:00 pm.

What was the academic music of the 20th century like? What is the music of the new era like? New movements, styles and methods… Music of the future with all its diversity. What do we know about it? Works of which genius composers, and, most importantly, female composers of that time do we remember?

After all, the history of music was created not only by men… At the lecture, you will be able to hear about the various features of the 20th century music and about several prominent female composers of the 20th century.
