Realizing that they had been detected, the smugglers tried to escape. Despite the disobedience and physical resistance, one of the fugitives was detained near the border. In the course of further operational and search activities, the border guards found near the border, in addition to the vehicle with cigarettes, a rubber boat with an electric motor.
To establish all the circumstances of the offense and draft administrative and procedural documents under Art. 204-1 of the CAO, the detainee was taken to the border guard unit.
Currently, the measures are being taken to establish the circle of people involved in illegal activity at the border. Subsequently, the case will be referred to the court, which will determine the sentence for the offender.
