A laboratory assistant, who demanded money from a volunteer for X-rays, was fired

A laboratory assistant of Khust District Hospital, who dared to demand money for x-ray from a volunteer, was "rewarded" with a reprimand and fired. 

This was reported by the assistant of the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Alla Hayatova: 

"There is the instruction from the regional authorities to all healthcare institutions to take special care about medical support of all people associated with the ATO – free of charge and at the highest level. Once again, in case of non-compliance, there will be disciplinary and personnel decisions. 

By the way, on Sunday, February 22, the head of the Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal issued the order "On the organization of medical support for soldiers who have returned from the area of the ​​anti-terrorist operation" that provides for establishment of the regional headquarters and aseries of other measures. There have been meetings, in particular, on the coordination of regional health care institutions with the military hospital, the group for organization of psychological support has been formed. 

All the ATO participants and their family members, in the event of any inconsistencies with medical services, may contact the regional health care department for an urgent response," – the statement reads.
