A group of illegal migrants was detained near the border with Slovakia

Four foreigners, who tried to get to EU countries bypassing border crossing points, were detained yesterday by border guards of the Chop detachment together with officers of the National Police.

Operational staff of the Western Regional Directorate of the SBGS informed border guards of the "Velyky Berezny" department about a group of Asians moving towards the state border. A response team was sent immediately to that location. The border guards and policemen checked possible routes of movement, and soon on the northern outskirts of Velyky Berezny they found a group of Asian men.

The detainees were taken to the special premises of the "Velyky Berezny" department. After identification of the offenders, they will be brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the CAO "Illegal crossing or attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine."
