At night, near the settlement of Nevytske, in Transcarpathia, border guards of the Chop detachment detained three Bangladesh citizens. Officers of the operational division of the State Border Guard Service provided the information about the possible attempt to violate the state border. A response group from the "Huta" department was immediately sent to search and detain the offenders. The unknown persons were heading towards the Ukrainian-Slovak border, but their plans were disrupted by border guards.
The detained offenders were taken to the department of the Border Guard Service for filtration measures and drafting relevant procedural documents. After identification, they will be brought to administrative liability under Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the Criminal Code "Violation or attempt to violate the state border".
Also, yesterday, border guards of the Chop detachment, in cooperation with Slovak colleagues detained a citizen of Ukraine who had illegally crossed the state border. During a joint patrol at the site of the "Knyahynya" department, law enforcement officers noticed an unknown person entering the territory of the Slovak Republic. The man was arrested and brought to administrative responsibility. The punishment for the committed offense will be determined by the court.
