Right now, two fire and rescue vehicles of the State Emergencies Service Office in Transcarpathian region have rushed to Shvabska Street in Uzhgorod.
According to witnesses, the fire occurred in a one-story house on Shvabska Street, near one of the bank branches.
The house is located in the courtyard along with four other buildings. It is yet unknown if anybody was injuried. Rescuers informed that preliminary cause of the fire was a defective chimney.
Fire fighters and gas service are working at the scene.
