Last night, at the checkpoint "Maly Berezny", border guards detained a 40-year-old citizen of Ukraine, who was wanted by law enforcement agencies of Lviv region.
The man was trying to leave Ukraine on foot. While checking the documents provided by our compatriot for passport control, border guards checked the database. According to the database, the man is wanted on suspicion of committing an offense under Part 3 of Article 305 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Contraband of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors".
The man was detained and the National Police was notified about it. Upon completion of the relevant procedures, the offender was handed over to the investigative team of the Uzhgorod district police department.
