Protection police officers together with officers of the criminal police department of Uzhgorod tracked down and arrested burglers who had broken into an apartment.
According to the information received by the police, the burglary was reported by representatives of a private security firm, who arrived after triggering of the alarm signal at about 11 o’clock.
The criminals, upon seeing the guards, started to run away. They managed to escape through the balcony of the apartment located on the 4th floor. However, not all of them – one of the criminals, a 35-year-old previously convicted resident of Crimea, got seriously injured and was delivered to the hospital.
The rest of the fugitives were also caught soon – the police initiated the plan "Interception".
Soon, during the search activities, protection police officers found the wanted car on Lehotsky street. Observing the personal safety rules, policemen blocked the car and arrested those who were inside. After the coordinated actions of the police, three suspects were arrested. They were two residents of Uzhgorod 39 and 41 years old, not previously convicted and a resident of Uzhgorod district, which also had a criminal record for similar offenses.
The prosecutors initiated criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art.186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (burgary).
