A 38-year-old resident of Mukachevo was regularly robbing the district hospital

At the moment, he is charged with 5 such instances, the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police informs.

The investigator of the Mukachevo police department conducted a pre-trial investigation into five instances of theft from the premises of the city’s medical institutions. The case with the indictment was sent to court. The suspect is in custody.

Police officers at the Mukachevo department received a report from a guard of a local clinic on Hrushevsky Street that they had detained in the premises a man suspected of theft.

At the scene, the investigative team documented the attempt of theft. In the course of the investigation, the police found out that the 38-year-old resident of Mukachevo was involved in committing four other thefts from the premises of the clinic and the central district hospital. As the police found out, the man had stolen two transformers for a cargo elevator from the attic of the hospital. A few days later, he committed another crime – stole medical equipment from the premises of the clinic.

The next day, the man stole a bike from a pensioner. The patient was undergoing treatment in the medical institution on Hrushevsky Street.The total amount of damage was more than 24 thousand hryvnias.

Now the suspect in the thefts combined with breaking and entering is in custody. The case with the indictment was sent to the court for making a final decision.
