A 23-year-old resident of Mukachevo was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for robbery

Recently, Mukachevo City and Court fully agreed with the position of the public prosecutor and sentenced a 23-year-old resident of Mukachevo to 5 years and 6 months imprisonment for committing robberies.

Thus, it was found out that on January 11 this year, the repeatedly convicted resident of Mukachevo, by prior agreement, violently, openly seized the property of the victim worth almost 1,300 UAH.

10 days later, he tried to rob another woman, but failed to fully realize his criminal intent – almost immediately after committing the second attack, the offender was arrested.
At the trial, the accused did not acknowledged his guilt, despite the fact that the public prosecutor provided indisputable evidence of his guilt.

Due to a number of aggravating circumstances, the lack of any circumstances that would mitigate the punishment, and the fact that the young man had been repeatedly brought to criminal liability for lucrative crimes, indicating the reluctance to follow the path of correction, the prosecutor of Mukachevo city prosecution office Yaroslav Vaydych asked to sentence him to 5 years 6 months imprisonment for multiple offenses.
