The regional and the city officials, representatives of veterans’ organizations, heads of law enforcement agencies, military, diplomats and public of the region traditionally laid flowers to three monuments: "Ukraine to the Liberators" on the Ukrainian-Slovak border, "To Transcarpathian volunteers – the participants of the Second World War" on Cyril and Methodius square, as well as to the Memorial Complex on the Hill of Glory.
