7 villages were left without gas supply because of someone’s carelessness (PHOTOS)

Because of a burning of dry grass, seven settlements were left without gas supply

On April 3 at 16:10, the rescue service of Transcarpathian region received a report about interruption of gas supply in seven settlements of Beregovo district (the villages of Shom, Koson, Zapson, Heren, Popovo, Horonhlab, Batrad). In total, 1700 consumers were left without gas supply.

As it turned out, the medium pressure gas pipeline (200 mm diameter) near the village of Shom was damaged as a result of burning of dry vegetation in an open area.

Restoration of gas supply is to be carried out by crews of Beregovo operation department of the "Zakarpathaz" PJSC on April 4.

In view of such cases, rescuers appeal to all residents of the region asking not to burn dry grass, shrubs and all kinds of junk and observe basic safety rules while staying outdoors, in summer cottage, private residential sector.

Recall that in this case it is not only about the convenience of people, but also the lives of living beings.
