The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine together with the law enforcement agencies of neighboring countries continue to implement measures to counter smuggling and violations at the state border, including the illegal transportation of tobacco across the border.
Thus, yesterday border guards of the Mukachevo detachment detained near the border 2 vehicles that were trying to move cigarettes to Hungary. During the special operation, the squad also arrested one of the smugglers without documents.
While inspecting the SUVs, border guards found 48 boxes of cigarettes "Compliment slims". The Hungarian authorities were informed about this incident. Currently, the measures for finding people involved in illegal activities are being taken.
