On Sunday evening, the "Flag of Unity" – a 20-meter-long yellow and blue flag that is currently traveling across Ukraine – was unfurled on Teatralna Square in Uzhgorod. On the huge canvas, residents of different regions of the country write wishes to each other.
The campaign dedicated to the Independence Day and the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine started in Poltava, after that the flag has already visited Kherson, Mykolayiv and Odesa regions. On August 8, residents of Ivano-Frankivsk region wrote their wishes on the flag, from there the flag arrived to Transcarpathia the next day. Here it made several stops, in particular, on the Yablunetsky pass, in the geographical center of Europe in the village of Dilove in Rakhiv district, in the city of Khust. In the evening, Uzhgorod residents joined the campaign.
On the days of major public holidays, the flag with wishes and signatures will be unfurled in Kyiv
