110 patients with coronavirus are being treated in four medical institutions in Uzhgorod

This information was announced today during a briefing by the head of the regional infective hospital Mykhailo Polyak.

According to Mykhailo Polyak, 110 patients with coronavirus infection are currently being treated in all four hospitals in Uzhgorod.

So, 41 people are being treated in the infective hospital, 32 patients – in regional clinical hospital, 27 patients – in the Center for Pulmonary Diseases, 18 people – in the city clinical hospital.

At the same time, on Friday-Saturday in the regional infective hospital, 15 people who had recovered were discharged after treatment, yesterday – 3 more persons recovered. In total, more than 20 coronavirus patients have been cured in the hospital, M. Polyak clarified. 

Meanwhile, yesterday, May 4, a second child with suspected coronavirus was sent to the regional children’s hospital in Mukachevo. A rapid test for Covid-19 confirmed a positive result, so it was decided to hospitalize the child in the infectious diseases department of the children’s hospital in Mukachevo.
