Young football players from a small village will represent the whole of Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Young footballers from the village of Drotyntsi have achieved great sports result. They won the Nationwide zonal competition for the prize of the "Leather Ball" Club (age group – born in 2001 and younger).

The best teams – representatives of Uzhgorod, Svalyava, Khust and Drotynsi – gathered in Uzhgorod sports school. It is very pleasing that among uban sports teams, there was a village one, which eventually won. It consists of young footballers – students of 5, 6 and 7 grades.  The winning team (14 boys) was coached for the competition by Drotyntsi school physical education teacher Yaroslav Ukhach, and the school principal Mykhailo Mizun attended the event as a member of the support group.  The best player of this year’s zonal competition was a sixth grader Arthur Ivantyan – the forward of FC "Drotyntsi."  

Thus, FC "Drotyntsi", age group – born in 2001 and younger, won the prestigious event and won a ticket to the Nationwide competition for the prize of the "Leather Ball" Club – and simple country boy will represent the whole of Transcarpathia.
