Uzhgorod city council plan to sell municipal property without auction

At the next meeting of the Uzhgorod city council, deputies are going to consider the issue of privatization of municipal property, including the historic building "Chervona Ruzha" in the city center and the building of the former dry cleaning.

It became known from the published draft decision.

Both facilities will be sold without competition, as they are currently leased. According to the subtleties of Ukrainian legislation, the tenant has a preferential right to purchase.

If the deputies agree, the premises of the historic complex "Chervona Ruzha" in the area of 1896 sq. m. will be redeemed by the "Chervona Ruzha" LLC.

The founder of the company, according to the State Register, is Oleg Dykyi and the company "Sargon Ukraine" registered in Kyiv, the founder of which is, again, Oleg Dykyi.

It should be noted that at least for the last 10 years, the premises of the "Chervona Rouge" have been empty and abandoned.

The abandoned two-story building of Uzhgorod dry cleaning on Belinsky street in area of 2490 sq. m. has a commercially attractive location – close to the market "Bilochka". During the tenure of the previous government (2010-2015, the mayor – Victor Pogorelov), the city council made ​​a statement of intent to sell the building at auction, however, they never did it. At the end of the tenure, the dry cleaning was leased, an then something like reconstruction work began at the site. The tenant is individual entrepreneur V. Nemesh.

For the last 10 years, the building of the dry cleaning has been empty, and locals complained about unsanitary conditions in it.
