Transcarpathian border guards detained a “tourist” who was trying to overcome the barrage fence

Yesterday, in Transcarpathia, a few dozen meters from the border, border guards of the Chop detachment detained a Turkish citizen.

Soldiers of the Border Guard Service Department "Palad-Komarivtsi" arrested the offender when he tried to overcome the barrage fence.

The 36-year-old citizen of Turkey began to explain that he did not intend to go to Slovakia bypassing the checkpoint, and had come to Transcarpathia as a tourist.

After making relevant procedural documents, the foreigner was taken to the temporary detention center of the Chop border guard detachment. His further fate will be decided by the court.
