Three Christmases in one day with Anonymous and shellfish (PHOTOS)

On December 25, three interesting holiday events took place. Two in Uzhgorod – "Transcarpathian Christmas in Skansen" and "Transcarpathian Christmas" near the Dastor hypermarket, and another one in Mukachevo’s "Palanok" called "Christmas in the Castle".
In Uzhgorod. the event organized by the Skansen and the Transcarpathian Tourism Organization lasted only 4 hours (from 11.00 to 15.00). There were very few visitors… because the announcement was released late. Still, those who came did not regret it. First, there was a Christmas worship in the Shelest Church. Then visitors could work as blacksmith with master Roman Murnik and at the leather goods workshop. The Museum Tavern hosted "Free Tasting" from the "Traditional Khust district brynza", Transcarpathian gingerbread cookies were also sold there. Kids (and adults) gathered around a gingerbread tree from the Zakarpatsky pryanyk. Here you were greeted by Anonymus (tourism expert Max Adamenko from Mukachevo), who had rabbits in his cage. Children fed them gingerbread. In short, Christmas in the skansen was with a flavor of the Middle Ages.
And near the "Dastor", the Honored Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir was singing carols. The famous photographer and "Betyar grill" Edgar Peti and others were there. Even shellfish were cooked there. There were also wines, honey, sausages and other food. And also, a fair with handmade goods!
In the Palanok, the Mukachevo TourInfoCenter and the Museum of History organized a more ethnographic event, where everyone could dive into the world of traditions and ancient rites, listen and sing along to carols.
