The Scandinavian cyclone "Petra", which swept over Transcarpathia yesterday with a strong wind, also brought a significant coldsnap. Last night, the automatic meteorological station "Terentin" in Rakhiv district recorded -17.3 degrees.
Today, in the lowlands of the region, the air temperature will be about +3 degrees, and in the mountains – up to -6 and it will snow, wind speed will be 22 to 41 kilometers per hour.
The hottest day on this date was in 2014 – +21 degrees, and the coldest was in 1954: – 27.1 degrees below zero.
