The Road of Wine and Taste will be created in Transcarpathia

Developing tourism with wine, cuisine and tradition. The establishment of the Road of Wine and Taste has begun in Transcarpathia, and on November 25 they will hold the first event, which will kick-off the practical implementation of the idea with the support of the EU project.

The Scientific and Practical Seminar “Roads of Wine and Taste – an Instrument for the Development of the Territories of Transcarpathian Region as Enogastronomic Tourist Destinations” will be held in Beregovo on November 25, 2019.

The goals of the seminar: coverage of problematic issues of development and promotion of enogastronomic tourist product of rural areas in Transcarpathian region; transfer of international experience and best Ukrainian practices of the organization of Roads of Wine and Taste; consolidation of efforts for systematic development of Roads of Wine and Tastes in the rural territories of Transcarpathian region on the basis of sustainable development and public-private partnership.

Subject of discussion:

– International experience of creating and promoting the Roads of Wine and Taste.

– Presentation of the Road of Wine and Taste of Ukrainian Bessarabia as a model of development. 

– Organizational structure of the Road of Wine and Taste (requirements for the main participants).

– The enogastronomic potential of Transcarpathia for the development of the Roads of Wine and Taste system.

– Creation of the system of the Roads of Wine and Taste of Transcarpathia.

The seminar is intended for winemakers, producers of traditional products of Transcarpathian region; representatives of the tourism industry; representatives of local self-government bodies and state authorities; representatives of the academic sphere, public organizations and all people interested in the development of enogastronomic tourism in Transcarpathia.
