The president dismissed the head of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathia

The President Petro Poroshenko has appointed a new head of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region – Volodymyr Pakhnyuk, according to the Presidential Decree No. 344/2018.

In addition, the president signed two more documents on Friday, October 26. In particular, those are decree No. 342 on the dismissal of Pakhnyuk from the post of the head of the Security Service of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region, and No. 343 on dismissal of O. Voyevodin, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region, the Interfax-Ukraine informed.

Volodymyr Pakhnyuk (April 26, 1967, the town of Rokytne, Rivne region) is Major General, has been the head of the Security Service of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region since 2017.

He received two higher education degrees – military, having graduated with a distinction in 1988 from the military college, and law, having graduated in 2001 from the National University "Ostroh Academy".

He has been working in state security since the establishment of the Security Service of Ukraine.

By the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated October 13, 2014, Pakhnyuk Volodymyr was appointed the head of the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region. Married, has two children, the 0312.ua informs.
