The movement CHESNO will tell how they were watching the deputies’ money

Tomorrow, at 11.00, in Uzhgorod Press Club, there will be a final press conference on the results of the campaign "Watch the money", which was implemented by the social movement CHESNO and the NGO Active Community.

At the press conference, activists will announce the data on how parties and candidates fulfilled the commitments regarding the disclosure of property declarations and provision of financial reports on election expenses.

The campaign was held in 25 cities during August – October 2015, more than 10,000 citizens took part in it. The objective of the campaign was to draw public attention to the issue of money in politics and transparency of election financing.

The results will be presented by:

– Marina Stashyna-Neimet, communication of the Movement CHESNO in Transcarpathian region.

– Yulia Borisenko, coordinator of the campaign "Fair Spring – Responsible Autumn."

The campaign "Watch the money" is implemented under the coordination of the CentreUA together with thw NGO "Institute "Republic" and the NGO "Active community" in partnership with the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs and funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation.
