The festival "My native land" organized by the Transcarpathian Directorate of the National Television and Radio Company of Ukraine has launched in the village of Baranyntsi in Uzhgorod district.
Today, the opening ceremony already took place there, and now the "Ethno-pot" is taking place – a traditional bograch cooking competition among participating teams.
Here is the detailed program of events.
12:00 – 12:25 – The performance of the Majorette Ensemble of Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts
12:30 – 13:00 – Opening of the XVIIIth International Festival "My native land"
14:30 – 15:20 – Press Conference
14:30 – 18:30 – Ethno-pot. Television contest for cooking of the traditional Transcarpathian dish "bograch" and television programmes about national minorities.
15:30 – 16:00 – Demonstration of the documentary film about Professor Mykola Mushinka – Slovak folklorist and Ukrainian scientist, foreign member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
16.00 – 16.30 – Round table: "Ukrainian minority in Slovakia." Moderated by Professor Mykola Mushinka
16:35 – 17:20 – Conversation on the topic: "National programmes at Slovak television and radio". Hosted by Vincent Shtofanyk – Program Director of Slovak Radio.
17:30 – 18:30 – "Ethno-pot": announcement of results, determination of the winners of the culinary competition.
18:30 – Entertainment program with the participation of the group "Slovenka" and a fire show
