The first monolith to the Heaven’s Hundred has been established in Uzhgorod

In Uzhgorod, in the regional TB clinic, the memorial sign to the Heaven’s Hundred has been consecrated, the Novyny Zakarpattya reported.

The symbol of unity and invincibility of Ukrainian people was established on the initiative of the medical institution employee Mykhailo Bukovetsky. The rest of the hospital staff enthusiastically supported his intention. Together, they streamlined the place, where an alcove used to be, planted yellow and blue petunias along the path leading to the monument.

The Director General of the "Phthysiology" medical organization Vasyl Skryp noted that the establishment of this commemorative sign is symbolic in its execution: "It’s not an ordinary stone – in Transcarpathia it is called "slipak." It is a stone that has no cracks, that can not be broken, it is a solid monolith. This is very symbolic, because people who have died for Ukraine, for the future, were fighting for the solidity of our country, for the unity of our people."
