He is a career diplomat, former TV worker. Prior to his appointment as the Ambassador in Chisinau, Matias Siladi worked as the Consul General of Hungary in Cluj (Romania).
Remind that recently Transcarpathia said good-bye to its friend – the former head of the Embassy in Beregovo Endre Szalipszki, who returned to Budapest after three years on this post (and in total the diplomat had been working in Transcarpathia for 7 years).
For significant contribution to the development of the Hungarian-Ukrainian relations, the Consul General was awarded with the diploma of the Regional Council, a watch and the medal "For Merits to Transcarpahia". In addition, he was handed a symbolic permanent visa to enter Ukraine.
Most likely, Matias Siladi will assume his new responsibilities in September.
According to the information from diplomatic sources, the Embassy of Hungary in Chisinau will be headed by Alexandra Doboli, the wife of the former finance minister in the government of the Social Democrats Janos Veres.
