According to the results from the protocols of vote counting, a new mayor Samardak Valeriy was elected at this year’s elections in Chop. He is an entrepreneur, candidate from the party Bloc of Petro Poroshenko "Solidarnist"

Tsar G. – 996 votes
Balog Oscar – 773 votes
Aftanas Jaroslav -136 votes
Skakodub A. – 123 votes
Kravchenko T. – 93 votes
