The Cabinet decided to extend the duration of the temporary emergency measures in the electricity market for another month.
The corresponding order №124-p of February 25 was published on the government portal.
According to the document, the measures, aimed to overcome the consequences of a prolonged disruption of the electricity market normal functioning provided under the order №36 of January 14, have been continued.
According to the order №36, the extraordinary measures are introduced to ensure reliable and stable operation of the United Energy Systems of Ukraine, to prevent emergencies and damage to electric power plants, their components and structures.
As you know, in August the Cabinet introduced temporary emergency measures in the electricity market of Ukraine for a month-long period. Since then, such measures have been continued for another month over and over.
