Refund of VAT: taxpayers of Transcarpathia have received more than UAH 572 million

During 11 months of 2015, UAH 572.7 million of VAT has been reimbursed to Transcarpathian region payers. This amount of money transferred on bank accounts of taxpayers exceeds the last year’s figure for the corresponding period by UAH 244.1 million, or 74.3%.

The bulk of the VAT refund was granted to legal entities-exporters – UAH 550.9 million, or 96.2% of the total amount in the region.

Note that in November this year, taxpayers of the region were refunded from the budget UAH 99.5 million of VAT, which is by 46.5 million, or 87.7% more than that in November 2014.

Under the declarations of October 2014 – September 2015, UAH 381.1 million was repaid to 175 taxpayers in automatic mode, accounting for 66.5% of total refunds in the region. Compared to the previous year, the VAT refund in automatic mode increased by UAH 216.4 million, or more than 2.3 times.

Specialist of VAT taxation control of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region remind that the criteria to be met by taxpayers to obtain automatic budgetary compensation are set out in paragraph 200.19 of Article 200 of the Tax Code of Ukraine. These criteria are based on analysis of taxpayer’s report data and the available tax information.
