At the meeting of the anti-epidemic commission chaired by the Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv, they discussed the situation with the incidence of ARVI in the city.
From December 29, 2016 to January 5, 2017, 642 Uzhgorod residents asked for medical care about acute respiratory viral infections. Compared to the previous week, the number of patients has decreased by half, at the same time, the incidence is still 39.2% higher than the epidemic threshold.
Since the beginning of the 2016-2017 epidemic, 16 cases of seasonal influenza "A" have been registered in Uzhgorod, particularly, 5 – over the past week, including 2 children.
Since the incidence of influenza and ARVI in Uzhgorod is one of the highest in the region, it was decided to extend the quarantine measures.
Restrictive control measures will be extended in kindergarten, daily monitoring of attendance at preschool educational institutions will also continue. Lessons at secondary schools will resume on January 16.
