Oleksiy Petrov, previously announced as the new head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, has been dismissed from the post of the head of the SBU of Kirovohrad region (Decree)

The corresponding decree on the dismissal of Oleksiy Petrov from his post as the chief of the SBU of Kirovohrad region was published on the website of the President’s Office.

According to the media, the appointment of Petrov to the post of the head of Transcarpathia was thwarted by the detention of Major-General Shaitanov, whom Petrov served as a deputy in 2016.

Thus, yesterday, on April 17, President Zelensky dismissed Oleksiy Petrov from his post as the chief of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Kirovohrad region.

The reasons for Petrov’s dismissal are not stated in the Decree.
