Yesterday, hundreds of Mukachevo residents came to the funeral of their compatriot who had died in the ATO area, Oleksandr Babich. Among those present, there were people who personally knew the Hero of Ukraine.
– He was a convivial man who could reach out to any person. He knew how to unite people around him. Oleksandr was also devoted to his family and country. Therefore, he did not hesitate to go to the East, to defend our country against the aggressor – Mr. Yevhen, Major said.
The death of Oleksandr Babich was a great loss for his family, especially for his wife and children.
Mr. Ivan, the brother of the deceased soldier’s wife, told that Oleksandr was a very kind and sincere person who could always comfort and give good advice. He had a special love for his children. And, as the relative noted, such courageous act, as defense of the homeland, is a good example of parental love.
