The real Day of the City will take place in Uzhgorod on September 27 (PROGRAM)

On September 27, 2020, the Day of the City will take place in Uzhgorod. 
This was announced by Transcarpathian tourist expert Shandor Fedir on his Facebook page. 
So, on September 27, 2020, on the Day of Exaltation of the Holy and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord – the main temple holiday of Uzhgorod – we invite Uzhgorod residents to the real Day of the City. 
There will be not only a real Uzhgorod cake – there will be a real holiday: 
11:00 battle for Uzhgorod on the river Uzh, a medieval reenactment of the battle between the militia and the Italian knights of the Order of St. Nicholas; 
12:00-16:00 Uzhgorod open-air museum invites to a free tour, tasting, smithy, free kitchen and many interesting things. The opening of the famous Transylvanian Gate will take place; presentation of the basket of craft Uzhgorod products; tour – secrets of Uzhgorod Puppet Theater 
20:00 – free tour of night Uzhgorod and an incredible number of interesting locations 
21:00 evening fire show from "Dragon Fly" on the river
