Repair of the green zone of Petofi Square continues in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

Repair of the green zone on Petofi Square began almost a month ago. 

The green zone on Petofi Square is being repaired – over the last month, almost two thirds of all paths have been re-paved, new curbs have been laid where necessary – the networks under the square have been replaced.

Currently, workers are repaving the paths in the part of the green zone that is close to the Consumer Services Center. There is still enough work to be done there.

After the repair, the square will probably become one of the favorite vacation spots of Uzhgorod residents, because it’s always cool here.

The repair involves replacing the existing pavement, installation of new trash bins, benches, lamps, bicycle parking racks, restoration of fencing.
