According to Trachuk, border guards and customs officers noticed a box in the car and decided to conduct an in-depth inspection. During a search of the luggage compartment, four sabers and a sword were found among the parcels. The driver said that he was transporting the parcel at the request of a stranger.
The found items were seized for examination, the Suspilne informed.
Border guards reported the incident to the police. The case is classified under Article 201 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Smuggling".
