In Mizhhirya district of Transcarpathian region, there is the world-famous "Synevyr" National Park, which is named after the unique high mountain glacial lake, which is located in its territory. Tourists visit this place to see the lake, which is one of the seven natural wonders of Ukraine – Synevyr, to visit the Brown Bear Rehabilitation Center, the unique Museum of Rafting and Kolochava museums and see ancient wooden churches.
A few years ago, the "Valley of Wolves" eco-park was established in the village of Synevyrska Polyana, 1-2 km away from the Bear Rehabilitation Center.
Yuriy Tyukh, a worker at the "Valley of Wolves" eco-park, showed what the residents of the park, namely lions and tigers, do in winter in Transcarpathia.
In December 2019, one-year-old lioness Polya, who had been kept in a private house, was moved here from Uzhgorod. And soon she will go to Africa.
In addition to lions and tigers, there are also ponies, roe deers and wolves in the "Valley of Wolves".
