In Transcarpathia, violators with wetsuits were detained near the border

The border guards of the "Dilove" department spotted people moving towards the state border. A few minutes later, at a distance of 20 meters from the border, the border guards detained two men who were carrying a bag with wetsuits. The detainees were residents of Transcarpathia aged 19 and 25.

It should be noted that during the past year, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment detained almost 80 tobacco smugglers, 17 of which used wetsuits for illegal transportation of cigarettes. Also, during the year 2018, more than 1 million packs of cigarettes were found and seized by the officers of the border guard detachment.
