Celebrations at Vilkhivtsi united community: new fire safety units were opened

On November 15, solemn events were held in the territory of the Vilkhivtsi United Territorial Community in Tyachiv district.
On that day, an administrative service center, a sports ground and an inclusive resource center were opened in the village. Representatives of the regional and district authorities, local self-government and village community, as well as the delegation of the regional fire and rescue service, attended the ceremony.
During the welcoming speech, Roman Hudak, the Head of the SES of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region, presented the keys to a fire truck to the newly formed local fire crew. This unit will provide fire protection for six settlements (Vilkhivtsi, Vilkhivchik, Sasovo, Vilkhivski Lazy, Rakovo and Dobryanske), which are part of a community of about 15,000 people.
On the same day, Volodymyr Tsitsei, the first deputy head of the SES of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region, participated in the opening of a voluntary church fire crew in the village of Vary in Beregovo district. From now on, 25 volunteer firefighters and a Csepel fire truck will be ensuring fire safety in the village.
Congratulating the community on this occasion, Volodymyr Tsitsei stressed that this fire crew would be a reliable, and most importantly capable, assistant to the units of the State Emergencies Service in Beregovo district, as it would be able to perform firefighting operations within a radius of 10-15 kilometers from its location. Such fire-fighting units play an invaluable role in curbing the element at an early stage. Because today, the main problem is the remoteness of settlements from the locations of the Rescue Service units, the SES of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region reported
